WAVE 98.3's Tara Jean and Stirling Faux host this fundraiser for ALS research as they salute our radio comrade, performer and all around great person, Julie Brown. Vancouver listeners will know Julie from her time at CFMI-FM between 1978-82 and as a host/ interviewer/ co-producer at CJAZ-FM/ CKKS-FM Vancouver in the 80's and early 90s. She was also the weekend host on WAVE 98.3 when we launched over two years ago.
Julie was diagnosed with ALS this past year, and she and her friends in the Hot Mammas and Vancouver's entertainment community have rallied to produce this stunning fundraiser. Featured artists include:
