Wave 98.3 “Smooth Grooves of Summer Concert” Artist Application

Do you have what it takes to capture the energy and spirit of Vancouver with your music?

Attention all musicians in British Columbia! Wave 98.3, in concert with Vancouver’s North Shore, is on the hunt for the smooth grooves that embody the heartbeat of our city.

Last year, Jonny Tobin, Bungalow, AHSIA and Janette King joined us on stage for four sets of great music. This year, it could be you!

If you’re a Canadian smooth instrumental band or soulful singer, we want to hear from you! Submit your music and a brief description for a chance to perform at the Smooth Grooves of Summer concert at The Shipyards in North Vancouver with a performance fee of $2500.  Two instrumental and two vocal acts will be chosen to play.

Your submission will be adjudicated by a committee comprised of WAVE 98.3 staff members and select industry judges. The committee will select four smooth artists to showcase their sounds on stage.

We believe that the smooth jazz community in BC is rich and diverse, and we encourage underrepresented artists to apply and share your smooth sounds with Wave 98.3. The city is listening.
