1. ENTRY PERIOD & CONTEST SPONSOR
(a) The Contest is sponsored by Durham Radio Inc. (“DRI”), operator of radio station WAVE 98.3 (the “Station”), and its affiliated websites wave.fm and wave983.fm (collectively, the “Contest Sponsors”).
(b) The Contest entry period (the “Entry Period”) begins at 5:30 a.m. PT on June 22, 20262 and ends at 16:00 hrs PT on July 12, 2026.

2. HOW TO ENTER
No purchase is necessary.
To enter the Contest, complete the official online entry form available in the “Contests” section at wave.fm or wave983.fm during the Entry Period.
Limit one (1) entry per person per day unless otherwise stated.

3. LIMITS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Any attempt or suspected attempt to enter the Contest in a manner not authorized by these Rules shall be deemed tampering and will result in disqualification. Entries that are late, lost, stolen, incomplete, illegible, damaged, misdirected, or otherwise irregular will be void.
Proof of transmission does not constitute proof of receipt. The Contest Sponsors reserve the right to refuse any entry at their sole discretion.
By entering the Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and release the Contest Sponsors and Releasees (defined below) from any liability related to the Contest or any prize awarded.
This Contest may be promoted through third-party social media platforms; however, the Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any such platform. Any questions or complaints must be directed to the Contest Sponsors.

4. ELIGIBILITY
(a) The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who are 19 years of age or older at the time of entry.
(b) Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of the Contest Sponsors, their affiliates, prize suppliers, and members of their immediate households are not eligible.
(c) The Contest Sponsors reserve the right to require proof of identity and eligibility at any time. Failure to provide satisfactory proof may result in disqualification.

5. PRIZE DESCRIPTION
Kingfisher Pacifc Resort and Spa Resort & Spa Getaway
- Two-night stay for 2 adults in a one-bedroom unit
• Healing Caves Experience for two, and Hydropath Experience for two.

(b) NOT INCLUDED
All other expenses not expressly stated above are the sole responsibility of the Winner, including but not limited to:
• Transportation
• Travel insurance
• Meals
• Beverages and alcoholic beverages
• Incidentals
(c) GENERAL PRIZE CONDITIONS
Prizes are non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded. No cash substitution except at the sole discretion of the Contest Sponsors. If the prize or any portion cannot be awarded as described, the Contest Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

6. DRAW & SKILL-TESTING QUESTION
(a) One (1) entrant will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries on July 12, 2026 at approximately 4:05 p.m. PT in Vancouver, British Columbia.
(b) To be declared a winner, the selected entrant must:
• Correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question without assistance
• Comply with these Official Rules
• Sign and return a Release of Liability and Consent to Publicity Form
(c) If a selected entrant fails to meet these requirements, an alternate entrant may be selected.

7. WINNER NOTIFICATION
Winners will be contacted by phone and/or email within a reasonable time following the draw. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted within 72 hours, declines the prize, or fails to comply with these Rules, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate entrant.

8. RELEASE OF LIABILITY & CONSENT TO PUBLICITY
By accepting a prize, the Winner:
• Confirms compliance with these Rules
• Agrees to the use of their name, city of residence, image, and/or likeness for promotional purposes in all media, without compensation, where permitted by law
• Releases and indemnifies the Contest Sponsors and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents (the “Releasees”) from any liability arising from participation in the Contest or use of the prize

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Releasees shall not be responsible for any loss, injury, or damage arising directly or indirectly from:
• Participation or inability to participate in the Contest
• Acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize
• Technical failures, human error, or acts beyond their reasonable control

10. PRIVACY
Personal information collected will be used solely for administering the Contest in accordance with the Station’s Privacy Policy, available at wave983.fm.

11. GENERAL
(a) These Official Rules are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
(b) If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
(c) The Contest Sponsors reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Contest due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control.
Elephant Creamery Ice Cream for a Year Giveaway
Contests are open to residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) with the exception of all employees of Durham Radio Inc., and “Elephant Garden Creamery” immediate families, its partners, agencies and affiliates. All winners must be 18 years of age or older unless otherwise specified. Limit of one winner per household, per contest.

Terms and Conditions
Durham Radio Inc. and Elephant Garden Creamery reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to disqualify any contest entrant who supplies untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information.
Durham Radio Inc. and Elephant Garden Creamery reserve the right to change, postpone, cancel, or terminate contests at their discretion.
Durham Radio Inc. and Elephant Garden Creamery, affiliates, sponsors, partners, advertisers and employees assume no responsibility for any cancelled or postponed concerts / events, or other unforeseen circumstances related to the contest or 3rd party prize which prevents the delivery of the prize as planned (ie. COVID-19 restrictions, labour strikes, weather, event / prize cancellations, event / sponsor prize unavailability).
Should an event or concert be cancelled, postponed or substituted (in whole or in part) for any reason whatsoever (at any time prior to, during or after the posted contest period), the prize and any prize portions shall be deemed fulfilled and such prize or prize portions will not be substituted, except at the sole discretion of our partners.
All decisions made by Durham Radio Inc. and Elephant Garden Creamery are final.
Prize winners collecting a prize in person will be required to acknowledge and agree to all rules and regulations. Prize winners will be required to show valid government issued photo ID when claiming a prize. Prize winners collecting by mail or email, are bound by and acknowledge these rules and regulations herein.
Prizes for pick-up must be claimed within 30 days of winning. Should arrangements be made for someone other than the prize winner to pick-up the prize, he/she will be asked to confirm the winner’s name, address, and phone number.
Prizes are awarded only when all terms and conditions are met.
Prizes have no cash value. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be modified or exchanged for any other items. No substitutions are permitted. Prize use may be limited due to local legal requirements.
Durham Radio Inc. and Elephant Garden Creamery, their affiliates, sponsors, partners, advertisers and employees assume no responsibility for any claims, damages, losses, costs or expenses that may be incurred resulting from participation in a contest and/or redemption of a prize.
Wave983.fm’s online stream may be a delayed delivery of the station’s live over the air programming and may vary depending on your device’s memory capacity and the speed of your Internet or data connection. Durham Radio Inc. and Elephant Garden Creamery, partners, agencies and affiliates, assume no responsibility for entrants not making timely telephone calls or texts (as applicable) to the station as a result of any delays in the Internet or data stream.
Entrants will not be communicated with ,except for the declared winning entrant or entrants. All contest entries will receive one auto-reply per entry confirming the receipt of their entry into the contest.
Durham Radio Inc. and Elephant Garden Creamery are not responsible for errors, problems or delays in the mail or telephone systems that may prevent callers or entries from reaching Wave983.fm. In the event a contest entrant call gets disconnected for any reason before their name and phone number have been recorded, another call will be taken.
Durham Radio Inc. and Elephant Garden Creamery shall not assume any liability for lost, damaged or misdirected prizes.
Acceptance of Rules and Regulations
By entering our contests, each entrant agrees to and is deemed to have accepted all terms, conditions, rules and regulations as written herein.
All winners consent to the use of their name, city of residence, photograph, and audio/video recording for publicity purposes in all media by Wave983.fm, its partners, their agencies and affiliates.
WAVE 98/.3 General Contest Rules and Reguilations
1. Our contests are open to residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) with the exception of all employees of Durham Radio Inc. (KX96, KX94.7, KX105, 94.9 The Rock, CKDO, 92.9 The Grand, 88.5 The Lake, Wave.fm, Wave983.fm, PETE 99.7, Y91.9), immediate families, its partners, agencies and affiliates.
2. All winners must be 18 years of age or older unless otherwise specified.
3. Limit of one winner per household, per contest.
4. Durham Radio Inc. reserves the right, in our sole discretion, to disqualify any contest entrant who supplies untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information.

Durham Radio Inc., its affiliates, sponsors, partners, advertisers and employees assume no responsibility for any cancelled or postponed concerts / events, or other unforeseen circumstances related to the contest or 3rd party prize which prevents the delivery of the prize as planned (ie. Addendum - Social Media Contests
- Facebook / Meta contests hosted by Durham Radio Inc. are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta/Facebook. By participating in a Meta / Facebook contest, entrants release Meta / Facebook from any and all liability in connection with this promotion and agree to hold Meta / Facebook harmless.
- Personal information provided to Durham Radio Inc. will be used only for administration and prize fulfilment and handled in accordance with Durham Radio Inc.’s privacy practices and applicable privacy laws.
- Winners are selected from unique Facebook user accounts. Duplicate comments from the same Facebook user are treated as one entry unless the post states otherwise. Durham Radio Inc. may use a third-party comment-picker tool, the Facebook Graph API, Creator Studio, or manual export to collect and randomize eligible entries.
- Winners must respond to prize notification within the timeframe stated in the contest post or official rules. If a winner does not respond or cannot be verified, an alternate winner may be selected.
- Durham Radio Inc. reserves the right to disqualify entries from accounts that appear to be fake, automated, or otherwise fraudulent. Durham Radio Inc. may remove comments that are abusive, obscene, spam, or violate community standards
