Daryl Burgess is a name you’ve heard, even if you don’t realize it.
He wrote Just Came Back and Stay for Colin James - including a Juno Award for Single of the Year winner and Billboard Top Ten hit that helped define Canadian radio in the early ’90s. That success led to a long run in Nashville, where Burgess has spent decades writing and producing across country, blues, pop, and R&B.
His songs have been recorded by artists like Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Reba McEntire, and Patty Loveless, and he’s collaborated with names including Chris Stapleton, Alanis Morissette, Kenny Rogers, and John Denver.
Now back on the West Coast, Burgess steps out from behind the credits and into the spotlight with Daryl Burgess and the Rhythm Snakes.
