Headliner MONICA SIU Shades of Jazz presents Monica's Jazz arrangements from the "Steppin' Ahead" CD she has record over the last 11 months, alongside Musical Director and one of Canada's premier Jazz Pianist performers, and award winning Mastering Engineer Sheldon Zaharko.

Monica has been exploring, writing and recording. She presents a modern Jazz application on well known Jazz tunes, hidden gem and exhilarating new ones. In her Jazz arrangements, she also crosses genres boundaries and adds layers of instrumentation thoughtfully. The result being an ebb and flow of sounds, melodies and interweaving instruments that communicate with one another... resulting in an energizing and movingly beautiful song experience!
