Rules and Regulations
NS Craft Beer Festival

**1. Entry Period & Contest Sponsors**
(a) The Contest is brought to you by the following entities (collectively or individually, the "Contest Sponsors"): Durham Radio Inc. ("DRI"), operator of radio station WAVE 98.3 (the “station” and "Sponsor ").
(b) The Contest entry period (the "Entry Period") starts at 7:01 am on October 6, 2025 and runs until 6:59 a.m. October 20, 2025. All times are PACIFIC Time Zone.

**2. How to Enter**
No purchase is necessary.
To enter the Contest, fill out the entry form in the “contests” section at wave983.fm.

**3. Limits**
You may enter once per day.
Any attempt or suspected attempt to enter the Contest or to qualify in a fashion not authorized by these rules shall be deemed tampering and will void all of your entries. Entries that are late, lost, stolen, false, illegible, damaged, misdirected, mutilated, garbled, incomplete, altered, or otherwise irregular, or that do not conform with or satisfy any or all of these Contest rules will be void. Only entries received at wave.fm or wave983.fm will be considered. Proof of entry transmission shall not constitute proof of receipt. WAVE 98.3 reserves the right to refuse any entry in its absolute discretion.
By entering the contest, qualifiers confirm compliance with these rules and release each of the Releasees (defined below) from and against all liability in connection with the invitation, the Contest, and/or the awarding and/or use of any prize.
Although this Contest may be communicated, promoted, or administered by means of any third-party social media or social networking service or site (each, a "Third-Party Service"), participants acknowledge that: (i) this Contest is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, any Third-Party Service; (ii) if entry into this Contest is by means of a Third-Party Service, participants must have a valid account with the applicable Third-Party Service (and may be required to have a public (i.e., non-private) account to participate) and must comply with the applicable Third-Party Service's terms and policies; and (iii) any questions, comments, or complaints regarding this Contest should be directed to the Contest Sponsors and not to any Third-Party Service. By participating in this Contest, you completely release any Third-Party Service from all liability in relation to any injury, damage, or loss that may occur, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from your participation.
 
**4. Eligibility**
(a) This Contest is open to residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) who are 19 years of age or older as of the date of entry. Contest is void where prohibited by law.
(b) Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of the Contest Sponsors, their parent and affiliated companies, the Contest prize suppliers, the Contest judges (if applicable), and any and all other companies associated with the Contest, as well as those with whom the foregoing individuals reside, are not eligible to enter this Contest.
(c) The Contest Sponsors shall have the right at any time to require proof of identity and/or eligibility to enter the Contest. Failure to provide such proof may result in disqualification. All personal and other information requested by and supplied for the purpose of the Contest must be truthful, complete, accurate, and in no way misleading. The Contest Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant should such an entrant at any stage supply untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading personal details and/or information.

**5. Prize Description**
(a) GRAND PRIZE: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will be awarded a one night stay at a hotel in North Vancouver, four tickets to Vancouver's North Shore Craft Beer Festival, $100 in North Shore Brewery gift cards and a Vancouver's North Shore merchandise package.

Value is: $1,000 CAD

(b) No financial compensation will be made or required if the actual prize value is lower than the total value quoted in these rules. The prize must be accepted as awarded, without substitution, transfer, exchange, or assignment, unless otherwise determined in the absolute discretion of the Contest Sponsors and/or prize suppliers. Any unused portion of a prize, once awarded, will be deemed forfeited by the applicable winner, and no financial compensation will be made or required in respect of such unused portion. The Contest Sponsors and/or the prize suppliers reserve the right, in their absolute discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value, including, without limitation, a monetary award, if the prize or prize component cannot be awarded by the Contest Sponsors and/or the prize supplier(s) for any reason. The prize may not be exactly as advertised. Prizes will not be replaced if lost, destroyed, or stolen.
(c) Except as expressly warranted herein, any Contest prize is provided "as is" without further warranty of any kind.
(d) Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

**6. DRAW**
(a) A draw will be made from all qualifiers who have entered the contest at wave983.fm during the contest period. The draw will be made at 7:05 am, Monday, October 20, 2025 in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, by a staff member of WAVE 98.3. In order to be declared a winner, the potential prize winner must correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question; be in full compliance with these Contest rules; and, at the discretion of the Contest Sponsors, sign and return a release of liability and consent to publicity form (the "Release Form") and any other documentation as may reasonably be required by the Contest Sponsors in their absolute discretion.
(b) Decisions and rulings of the Contest Sponsors and/or their representatives are final and binding without appeal in all matters related to this Contest and the awarding of a prize.
(c) In the event that a potential winner does not comply with all the provisions as outlined in these Contest rules, Contest Sponsors shall have the right to disqualify the potential winner, and draw an alternate potential winner, and the Contest Sponsors and Releasees shall be fully and completely released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in this regard.
(d) Winners will be contacted by email or phone to claim their prize. All prizes must be claimed within 72 hours of the draw. If a winner cannot be contacted within 48 hours of the draw or is unable to accept the prize, a new winner will be drawn from the remaining eligible entries. If a selected entrant cannot be reached, or in the event that a selected entrant does not comply with these Contest rules, the Contest Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify such entrant and, if time permits, to select an alternate entrant from among the remaining eligible entries.
**7. Release of Liability / Consent to Publicity**
(a) By accepting a Contest prize, each winner: (i) confirms compliance with the Contest rules; (ii) acknowledges that the prize is not transferable (except as provided for herein and at the sole discretion of the Contest Sponsors), and must be accepted as awarded unless otherwise agreed to by the Contest Sponsors; (iii) consents to the use of his/her name, city of residence, photograph, and/or image for any publicity, promotion, or advertising purposes in all media, including, but not limited to, print, broadcast, and online fora reasonable period of time, without compensation or further notice, and hereby releases the Contest Sponsors and each of their respective affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, and representatives (collectively, the "Releasees") from any claims or damages of any kind that may arise in connection with the foregoing; and (iv) agrees to release and indemnify the Releasees from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from any use of his/her prize, including, but not limited to, any loss, injury, or damage incurred while participating in or traveling to any contest-related activity.

(b) The Release Form and any other documentation reasonably required by the Contest Sponsors must be signed and returned within the time period specified in the Release Form and/or such other documentation as applicable or the prize may be forfeited.

**8. Limitation of Liability**
(a) The Releasees do not assume any responsibility and are not responsible for, and entrant hereby releases the Releasees from any and all claims, actions, damages, loss, injury, or other liability of any kind directly or indirectly in connection with or resulting from: (i) a person's participation in or inability to participate in the Contest, (ii) the awarding, receipt, acceptance, use, misuse, possession, loss, or misdirection of any prize or preparing for, participating in, or traveling to or from any prize-related activity; (iii) incorrect or inaccurate entry information, human error, technical malfunctions, lost, delayed, or garbled data or transmissions, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects or failures of any telephone or computer lines or networks, computer equipment, software, or any combination thereof; (iv) entry forms or other Contest materials that have been tampered with, altered, or corrupted in any way; (v) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Contest Sponsors that may cause the Contest to be disrupted or corrupted; and (vi) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind relating to participation in the Contest.
(b) The Releasees will not be responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription or registration of Contest entry information, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, or any combination thereof, inability to access the Contest website or online entry form, or for late, lost, stolen, illegible, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, postage-due, or destroyed entries.

(c) The Contest Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Contest rules or otherwise in a disruptive manner. The Contest Sponsors reserve the right to terminate or suspend all or any part of the Contest if, in their sole opinion, the Contest is no longer capable of being conducted as intended by these rules, without liability to any entrant or other person.
(d) Contest Sponsors shall not be liable to any prize winner or any other person for failure to supply any prize or any part thereof by reason of any acts of God, any actions, regulations, orders, or requests by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity (whether or not the actions, regulations, orders, or requests prove to be invalid), equipment failure, threatened or actual terrorist acts, earthquake, war, fire, flood, explosion, unusually severe weather, hurricane, embargo, labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal), labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow-down, civil disturbance, insurrection, riot, or any other cause beyond the Contest Sponsors' sole control.

**9. Privacy**
(a) By entering the Contest, entrants consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information for the purposes of administering the Contest, in accordance with WAVE 98.3's Privacy Policy. WAVE 98.3 will only use the personal information provided by entrants to contact entrants in connection with the Contest and for no other purpose.

**10. General**

(a) These rules are subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations.
(b) If any provision of these Contest rules is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, such determination shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision.
(c) By entering the Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Contest rules and the decisions of the Contest Sponsors, which decisions are final with respect to all matters relating to the Contest.

(d) The Contest Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to modify, cancel, or suspend this Contest should external circumstances arise which are beyond the reasonable control of the Contest Sponsors. The Contest Sponsors are not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this Contest.
