Phil Evans is the voice of 'Life Around Town,' the daily concert, entertainment, and festival feature on WAVE 98.3. Phil caught the radio bug years ago and began his career at 7 years old with his dad's tape recorder. Phil recorded music off the radio, doing the song intro's and weather reports - mostly covering what was happening outside the window. And let's be honest—who among us hasn't recorded the radio and tried to hit the button right after the DJ stopped talking? However, not many of us make it a career.
