Susana Williams Brought Latin Fire to Guilt & Co

On Saturday, March 15, Guilt & Co hosted Chilliwack-based vocalist Susana Williams and her band for an evening of Latin-leaning live music. Born in Venezuela, Williams began performing at a young age before continuing her career in Canada, developing a style that blends Latin, pop, and soul influences.

Her set moved between slower, more introspective songs and rhythm-driven material built around percussion and groove. Vocally, she was steady and controlled, shifting comfortably between softer passages and more forceful delivery. The band supported her well, keeping arrangements tight and responsive without overplaying.

The audience engaged throughout - some on their feet, others settled in - reflecting the ebb and flow of the performance. The set highlighted Williams’ experience and consistency as a live performer, along with a clear connection to her musical roots.
