Paul Brown has released what I expect he will consider to be his 'lucky' album. Why? Well, although it's his thirteenth, it embodies one of his best quotes: "I love all kinds of music as long as it’s good."

This album delivers a wealth of Paul's influences and styles which, combined with his experience and the help of many talented friends, deliver an entertaining musical package.

So Much To Say begins with a catchy title track Paul describes as "throwback to 70's George Benson" that immediately draws the listener in and invites more fun.

Paul has produced artists like Benson, Al Jarreau and Luther Vandross and has worked in-studio with more famous music names than most, so when it comes time to record, his many friends are only too happy to oblige.

"So Much To Say" features a host of today's best players like Rick Braun ("Play It Forward"), Darren Rahn ("Spill Da Beans"), and Jeff Ryan ("Smooth Moves") whose contributions make this album such a delight.

We at Wave 98.3 have been playing Paul's version of "Summertime" since the first day we heard it. It is a wonderful 'new century' version of an irresistible Gershwin classic.

My personal favourite (and it's a difficult choice) is "Down On My Knees", an outstanding, stripped-down blues tune that literally grabs you by the ears and refuses to let go.

The last song on the album, "The Get Down" is a perfect show-stopper and a fun, 'shake-it-off' musical ride.

I hope So Much To Say turns out to be Paul Brown's 'lucky' album. His thirteenth hosting project is well worth your attention and will earn your appreciation.

Paul Brown says So Much To Say is designed "to bring peace of mind to people". I say, "Mission Accomplished!"
